The Pharaoh module genuinely changes how the whole table plays, since one player now acts as ruler and high priest instead of just another god. Our group of five finished a full game in about two hours and everyone wanted to run it again immediately.

Wasn't sure the Pharaoh module would change much, but it completely reshapes how the guardian role plays. Having a player anointed as high priest and defender against the other gods adds this tense political layer I didn't know the base game was missing.

The Pharaoh expansion adds a whole new layer to the base game with the divine anointment mechanic, and it felt seamless rather than bolted on. The new guardians and monuments give each match more variety, and setup barely took longer. Been playing it weekly since it arrived.
