Azul: Glazed Pavilion offers players 2 newly designed player boards and matching scoring boards to compete over and a set of 4 overlays to keep Azul: Glazed Pavilion tiles neatly organized. Offering the best of both worlds — beauty and new game elements — Glazed Pavilion is a must-have expansion for Azul fans!
The new player boards have a cleaner layout than the original, making it easier to track scoring without squinting. I also appreciate how the tile overlays keep everything from sliding around during a tense game.
The four overlays are the real win here — no more tiles sliding around when someone bumps the table mid-game. My group plays on a wobbly coffee table, so this fixed our biggest annoyance. The new scoring boards fit nicely in the box too.
These new player boards make the tiles sit so much better than the originals, and the matching scoring boards are a nice touch too. Setup goes quicker now that everything has a proper spot instead of sliding around mid-game.
