7 Wonders Architects Medals

The medals give every turn a real purpose instead of just racing to finish your Wonder, and suddenly blocking an opponent actually costs you something. Played three games back to back and the scoring stayed tense right to the last card.

Picked this up hoping it would add a bit more direction to our two-player games, and the medal objectives do exactly that. Now every turn feels like it matters, since you're weighing whether to chase a medal or keep building your Wonder.

The medal objectives finally give me a reason to care about what my neighbors are doing instead of just racing to finish my Wonder. Games that used to end in a tie now have a clear winner, and the extra scoring layer only added about five minutes to setup and play.
