Took this on a camping trip and the two-player back-and-forth kept us up way past the fire dying out. The card-drafting tension never lets up, and the three different victory conditions mean you're never really out of it.
My wife and I have played this almost every night this week, and the way you can win by either military, science, or points keeps every game tense. The card drafting forces you to watch what your opponent needs, not just what helps you. Easily our most-played two-player game now.
Took this on a weekend trip and it became the only game we played. The two-player tug-of-war over military and science cards keeps every round tense right down to the last flip.
