The new crafts give you so many more viable paths to victory that our group's usual strategy discussions have completely changed. Setup takes a bit longer with the extra boards, but it's worth it once you're actually playing.
The new exploration boards add a nice layer without slowing the game down, and the Norwegian crafts open up strategies I never bothered with before. Setup does take a bit longer now, but the extra decisions are worth it for anyone who's played the base game a lot.
The new occupation tiles alone make this expansion a must-buy for anyone who’s played out the base game’s strategies. I love that it introduces fresh crafts and exploration options without bloating the already tight gameplay. It’s been hitting my table every week since it arrived.
