The garden-building puzzle here is way more thinky than the original, and I love that you're literally designing for the queen this time. The plastic tiles feel sturdier than I expected, though the scoring can get a little fiddly with four players.
The double-sided player boards for the Queen's Garden variant made our first play genuinely tense, since you're never quite sure which side your neighbor is working toward. The tile-laying here feels tighter than the original Azul, and the garden boards give you way more to plan around each round. My wife and I played three games back to back on a rainy Sunday, which never happens with our other games.
