Packed my 55-card Commander deck in thick inner sleeves and it closed without bulging at all. The lid snaps shut with a really solid click, no wiggle. Smaller than my old box too, fits the side pocket of my bag now.
Wasn't sure 45 double-sleeved cards would actually fit, but my Thick Inner Sleeves slide in without bowing the lid. The thing feels like a brick in my bag, which is exactly what I wanted.
Double-sleeved my 55-card commander deck in thick inners and it still closes flush with zero bulge. The lid snaps shut with a satisfying click and the whole thing disappears in my jacket pocket.
