Didn't expect a dice game about fishing to get this competitive. The target numbers on the fish cards keep every roll tense, and needing to meet the extra requirements before you can reel one in makes it way more than just luck. Two hours disappeared without anyone noticing.
Played this with three friends and we were hooked by round two — the tension of rolling to beat a fish's target number is way more fun than it sounds. Some cards have extra requirements that make you sweat, and stealing a big catch right before someone else scores feels amazing.
The fish cards each have unique requirements that force you to think strategically, not just rely on luck. My group loved the tension of rolling exactly the right numbers to land a big catch. Already planning our next game night around it.
