The concept of animals running the zoo is so clever, and the voting to gain influence is surprisingly strategic. I love how the influence trackers feel substantial and the artwork on the cards is genuinely charming.
The bidding for prestige gets tense in the best way, and I love how every favor you trade comes back around later. Played it three times in one night and the alliances shifted completely each round.
The animal-led government theme actually works as a game mechanic instead of just window dressing, and negotiating for prestige with the other creatures got competitive fast. Turns move quicker than I expected once everyone understands the support system.
